The use of air-cooled pumps is becoming more frequent in the food industry. When the time comes to choose the most appropriate type of pump for the circulation of hot edible oil, air-cooled pumps are considered as the most successful choice.

You will find air-cooled pumps giving reliable performance in the most hostile environments by handling corrosive, abrasive industrial wastes, and circulating high-temperature fluids.

Hot oil pumps used to transfer high-temperature fluids have wide applications in various food processing industries for providing efficient, safe, and custom solutions.

Optimum pump efficiency is very important to ensure there are no interruptions in the pumping process. Being a leading industrial pump manufacturer and supplier in India, Sujal Engineering is ensuring that by developing high-quality hot oil circulation pumps.

In this blog, you will find why a hot oil circulation pump is essential for your industry and how it works in its various applications.

Importance of Air-Cooled Hot Oil Pump:

Hot edible oil has low viscosity at higher temperatures hence it cannot cool itself during the operation. With the rise in temperature, pressure also gets increased. Maintaining controlled and stable temperature and pressure is critical.

Therefore hot oil circulation pump plays an essential role in delivering higher performance and fulfilling the requirement of transferring liquid from one place to another.

In addition, an oil centrifugal machine is an ideal solution for circulating hot edible oil for the namkeen and frying industry. It is strongly designed to handle corrosive, abrasive, and high-temperature fluids and easily transfers the fluid from one place to another more quickly and safely.

Sujal New Air Cooled Pumps 2022

With the help of an auxiliary impeller located on the rotor assembly, hot oil pumps easily circulate high-temperature liquids and hot edible oil.

The air-cooled pump delivers reliable and dependable services in various industries such as construction, plastic, chemical, rubber, textile, food, pharmaceutical, paper, pulp, and more; and solves the problem of water cooling for bearings and mechanical seals.

Manufactured to high standards of accuracy, the hot oil pump designed at Sujal Engineering has a key role in the food industry to assure trouble-free and long-life operations that maximize quality and yields.

Working Principle of Air-Cooled Hot Oil Pump:

The edible oil transfer pump isolates liquid or fluid in the unit’s motor section for the hot process fluid in the pump casing. The isolation is done with a series of pressure ports located in the front bearing housing or pump casing adapter.

Further for the circulation, edible oil transfer pumps isolate liquid or fluid through an air-cooled heat exchanger by an auxiliary impeller located on the rotor assembly.

The inventive design of hot oil circulation pumps allows the motor and bearing environment to be at a much lower temperature than the process liquid or fluid.

Another advantage is that it eliminates the need for cooling water that could be of poor quality and reduces maintenance costs.
